Ashabu [44]

Translation:

and whoever will refuse to accept it and defy Our Revelations they shall be doomed to the Fire wherein they shall remain for ever.;

Translit: Waallatheena kafaroo wakaththaboo biayatina olaika ashabu alnnari hum feeha khalidoona

Why will not the fire of Hell touch you? Whoever earns evil and becomes engrossed in sin shall be doomed to Hell and abide therein for ever.

Only those people who believe and do good deeds, will be the dwellers of the Garden and live there for ever.

Translation:

They ask you (O Muhammad) concerning warfare in the prohibited month. Say, "Fighting is a heinous offence in this month, but in the sight of Allah it is far worse to hinder people from the Way of Allah and to deny Him and to prevent His worshippers from visiting the Masjidal-Haram, and to expel the dwellers of the sacred place from it; and persecution is far worse than bloodshed. As for them, they will go on fighting with you till they succeed in turning you away from your Faith, if they can. But (note it well that) whosoever renounces his Faith and dies a renegade, all his works shall be fruitless both in this world and in the Hereafter. All such people deserve the Fire and shall abide in Hell for ever.

Translit: Yasaloonaka AAani alshshahri alharami qitalin feehi qul qitalun feehi kabeerun wasaddun AAan sabeeli Allahi wakufrun bihi waalmasjidi alharami waikhraju ahlihi minhu akbaru AAinda Allahi waalfitnatu akbaru mina alqatli wala yazaloona yuqatiloonakum hatta yaruddookum AAan deenikum ini istataAAoo waman yartadid minkum AAan deenihi fayamut wahuwa kafirun faolaika habitat aAAmaluhum fee alddunya waalakhirati waolaika ashabu alnnari hum feeha khalidoona

Translation:

Allah is the Helper and Protector of those who believe in Him: He brings them out of the depths of darkness into the light. As for the disbelievers, they have taghut as their patron, who drives them out of light into the depths of darkness. These are the people who are doomed to the Fire, wherein they shall live for ever.

Translit: Allahu waliyyu allatheena amanoo yukhrijuhum mina alththulumati ila alnnoori waallatheena kafaroo awliyaohumu alttaghootu yukhrijoonahum mina alnnoori ila alththulumati olaika ashabu alnnari hum feeha khalidoona

Translation:

But those who devour interest become like the one whom Satan has bewitched and maddened by his touch. They have been condemned to this condition because they say, "Trade is just like interestâ€, whereas Allah has made trade lawful and interest unlawfu1. Henceforth, if one abstains from taking interest after receiving this admonition from his Lord, no legal action will be taken against him regarding the interest he had devoured before; his case shall ultimately go to Allah. But if one repeats the same crime after this, . he shall go to Hell, where he shall abide for ever.

Translit: Allatheena yakuloona alrriba la yaqoomoona illa kama yaqoomu allathee yatakhabbatuhu alshshaytanu mina almassi thalika biannahum qaloo innama albayAAu mithlu alrriba waahalla Allahu albayAAa waharrama alrriba faman jaahu mawAAithatun min rabbihi faintaha falahu ma salafa waamruhu ila Allahi waman AAada faolaika ashabu alnnari hum feeha khalidoona

As for those who have adopted the way of disbelief, neither their wealth nor their children shall avail them against Allah; they deserve Hell, and there they shall abide for ever.

Translit: Inna allatheena kafaroo lan tughniya AAanhum amwaluhum wala awladuhum mina Allahi shayan waolaika ashabu alnnari hum feeha khalidoona

O Muhammad, ask them, "Should we invoke, instead of Allah, those, who can neither benefit us nor harm us? And should we turn upon ow heels after Allah has shown us the Guidance? Should we put ourselves in the sad plight of the man, whom the satans have misled to wander over the desert in a bewildered state of mind, while his companions are calling aloud, `Come to us: here is the right way?" Say, "In fact, the right guidance is the Guidance of Allah and He has enjoined us to surrender to the Lord of the universe

Translit: Qul anadAAoo min dooni Allahi ma la yanfaAAuna wala yadurruna wanuraddu AAala aAAqabina baAAda ith hadana Allahu kaallathee istahwathu alshshayateenu fee alardi hayrana lahu ashabun yadAAoonahu ila alhuda itina qul inna huda Allahi huwa alhuda waomirna linuslima lirabbi alAAalameena

as for those who will treat Our Revelation as false and show pride in regard to them, shall be the dwellers of Hell, wherein they shall remain for ever."

But as to those who have believed in Our Revelations and done good deeds,- and in this way We lay not on anyone a burden beyond ones capacity-they are worthy of Paradise, wherein they will abide for ever.

Translit: Waallatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati la nukallifu nafsan illa wusAAaha olaika ashabu aljannati hum feeha khalidoona

Then the inmates of Paradise will call out to the inmates of Hell, "We have found all the promises made to us by our Lord to be true: have you, too, found the promises trade to you by your Lord to be true?" They will say, "Yes". Then a herald in their midst will announce: "The curse of Allah be upon those evil-doers

Translit: Wanada ashabu aljannati ashaba alnnari an qad wajadna ma waAAadana rabbuna haqqan fahal wajadtum ma waAAada rabbukum haqqan qaloo naAAam faaththana muaththinun baynahum an laAAnatu Allahi AAala alththalimeena

Translation:

Then these people on `the Heights` will recognize by their characteristics some `big` personalities from among the inmates of Hell and will call out to them, "You have seen that today neither your followers have availed you anything nor your wealth and property, of which you were very proud.

Translit: Wanada ashabu alaAArafi rijalan yaAArifoonahum biseemahum qaloo ma aghna AAankum jamAAukum wama kuntum tastakbiroona

And the inmates of Hell will cry out to the inmates of Paradise: "Pour upon us a little water or throw down a bit of the provisions Allah has bestowed upon you." They will reply, "Allah has forbidden both the things to the disbelievers,

It does not behoove the Prophet and those who have believed to pray for the forgiveness of the mushriks, even though they be near kinsmen, when it has become clear to them that they deserve Hell.

Translit: Ma kana lilnnabiyyi waallatheena amanoo an yastaghfiroo lilmushrikeena walaw kanoo olee qurba min baAAdi ma tabayyana lahum annahum ashabu aljaheemi

Translation:

Those who have done excellent works will get excellent rewards, and even more than their merits: neither gloom nor disgrace shall cover their faces. They deserve the Garden, where they will abide for ever.

Translit: Lillatheena ahsanoo alhusna waziyadatun wala yarhaqu wujoohahum qatarun wala thillatun olaika ashabu aljannati hum feeha khalidoona

And those who have earned evil deeds shall have their recompense according to the evil they earned: disgrace shall set over them: there shall be none to protect them from Allah: their faces shall be covered with such gloom35 as if the black veils of the night had fallen over them: they deserve Hell, wherein they shall abide for ever.

Translit: Waallatheena kasaboo alssayyiati jazao sayyiatin bimithliha watarhaquhum thillatun ma lahum mina Allahi min AAasimin kaannama oghshiyat wujoohuhum qitaAAan mina allayli muthliman olaika ashabu alnnari hum feeha khalidoona

As regards those who believed and did righteous works and dedicated themselves exclusively to their Lord most surely they shall be the dwellers of Paradise and shall abide there for ever.

Translit: Inna allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alsalihati waakhbatoo ila rabbihim olaika ashabu aljannati hum feeha khalidoona

Translation:

Now, if there is anything for you to marvel at, you should marvel at their saying: "What! when we have become dust, shall we then be raised to a new life again?" These are the people who have denied their Lord: they are those who shall have collars around their necks: they shall be the dwellers of Hell and therein they shall dwell for ever.

and the dwellers of Midian had treated their Prophets as false and likewise Moses was also rejected. At first I gave respite to all these disbelievers and then seized them. Now you can see for yourselves how terrible was My chastisement!

and those, who will strive to discredit Our Revelations, shall become the dwellers of Hell.

Likewise has this judgment of your Lord also proved true against those people who have denied that they would go to Hell.

Nay, the truth is, and it cannot be otherwise, that those to whom you call me, can neither he called to in this world nor in the Hereafter, and to Allah have we all to return, and the transgressors shall go to Hell.

Translit: La jarama annama tadAAoonanee ilayhi laysa lahu daAAwatun fee alddunya wala fee alakhirati waanna maraddana ila Allahi waanna almusrifeena hum ashabu alnnari

Before them the people of Noah and the people of the Rass and Thamud also denied,

and the dwellers of Aiykah and the people of Tubba`. Every one denied the Messengers, and consequently My scourge proved true against them.

People of the right hand. Oh, how (fortunate) shall be the people of the right hand!

And the people of the left hand. Oh, how ( unfortunate ) shall be the people of the left hand!

And the people of the right hand. Oh, how fortunate will be the people of the right hand!

Translation:

And the people of the left hand. Oh, how unfortunate will be the people of the left hand! Recompense.

Translation:

And those who have believed in Allah and His Messengers, are indeed the most truthful and the true witnesses in the sight of their Lord. For them is their reward and their light. As for those who have disbelieved and denied Our Revelations, they are the dwellers of Hell.

Translit: Waallatheena amanoo biAllahi warusulihi olaika humu alssiddeeqoona waalshshuhadao AAinda rabbihim lahum ajruhum wanooruhum waallatheena kafaroo wakaththaboo biayatina olaika ashabu aljaheemi

Neither shall their riches avail them anything to protect them from Allah nor their children. They are the fellows of Hell in which they shall live for ever.

The dwellers of Hell and the dwellers of Paradise cannot be alike. The dwellers of Paradise alone are truly successful.
