Translation:

Ramadan is the month in which the Quran was sent down : this Book is a perfect guidance for mankind and consists of clear teachings which show the right way and are a criterion of Truth and falsehood. Therefore from now on whoever witnesses it, it is obligatory on hire to fast the whole month, but if one be ill or on a journey, he should make up for the same number by fasting on other days. Allah desires to show leniency to you and does not desire to show any hardship. "therefore this method is being shown to you so that you may complete the number of Fast days and glorify Allah for the Guidance He has shown to you and be grateful to Him.

Translit: Shahru ramadana allathee onzila feehi alquranu hudan lilnnasi wabayyinatin mina alhuda waalfurqani faman shahida minkumu alshshahra falyasumhu waman kana mareedan aw AAala safarin faAAiddatun min ayyamin okhara yureedu Allahu bikumu alyusra wala yureedu bikumu alAAusra walitukmiloo alAAiddata walitukabbiroo Allaha AAala ma hadakum walaAAallakum tashkuroona

Translation:

And to encounter them, provide whatever force and trained ever-ready horses you can afford whereby you may strike terror into the enemies of Allah and your enemies as well and others besides them whom you do not know but whom Allah knows. The reward of whatever you expend in the way of Allah shall be repaid to you in full, and you shall not be wronged in any way.

Translit: WaaAAiddoo lahum ma istataAAtum min quwwatin wamin ribati alkhayli turhiboona bihi AAaduwwa Allahi waAAaduwwakum waakhareena min doonihim la taAAlamoonahumu Allahu yaAAlamuhum wama tunfiqoo min shayin fee sabeeli Allahi yuwaffa ilaykum waantum la tuthlamoona

Translation:

The fact is that the number of months ordained by Allah has been twelve since the time He created the heavens and the earth,34 and out of these four are forbidden months: this is the right code of reckoning: therefore do not wrong yourselves by violating these months. And fight against the mushriks all together even as they fight against you all together: and note it well that Allah is with the God fearing people.

Translit: Inna AAiddata alshshuhoori AAinda Allahi ithna AAashara shahran fee kitabi Allahi yawma khalaqa alssamawati waalarda minha arbaAAatun hurumun thalika alddeenu alqayyimu fala tathlimoo feehinna anfusakum waqatiloo almushrikeena kaffatan kama yuqatiloonakum kaffatan waiAAlamoo anna Allaha maAAa almuttaqeena

Translation:

As regards the prayer of Abraham for his father, it was only to fulfill a promise he had made to him, but when he realized that he was an enemy of Allah, he disowned him. The fact is that Abraham was a tender-hearted, God fearing and forbearing man.

Translit: Wama kana istighfaru ibraheema liabeehi illa AAan mawAAidatin waAAadaha iyyahu falamma tabayyana lahu annahu AAaduwwun lillahi tabarraa minhu inna ibraheema laawwahun haleemun

Translation:

Can it happen that he who takes his stand on a clear evidence from his Lord, subsequently followed by a witness from Him (in his support), and prior to that the Book of Moses was revealed as a guide and a mercy, (would even he deny the truth in the manner of those who adore the life of this world)? Rather, such men are bound to believe in it. The Fire shall be the promised resort of the groups that disbelieve. So be in no doubt about it for this indeed is the truth from your Lord although most people do not believe.

Translit: Afaman kana AAala bayyinatin min rabbihi wayatloohu shahidun minhu wamin qablihi kitabu moosa imaman warahmatan olaika yuminoona bihi waman yakfur bihi mina alahzabi faalnnaru mawAAiduhu fala taku fee miryatin minhu innahu alhaqqu min rabbika walakinna akthara alnnasi la yuminoona

Translation:

Then the angels said, "O Lot, We are messengers sent by your Lord. They shall not be able to do you any harm. So depart from here with the people of your household in the last hours of the night. And look here: none of you should turn round to look behind; but your wife (who will not accompany you) shall meet with the same doom as they. The morning has been appointed for their destruction-the morning has almost come."

Translit: Qaloo ya lootu inna rusulu rabbika lan yasiloo ilayka faasri biahlika biqitAAin mina allayli wala yaltafit minkum ahadun illa imraataka innahu museebuha ma asabahum inna mawAAidahumu alssubhu alaysa alssubhu biqareebin

Translation:

Your Lord is very Forgiving and very Merciful: Had He willed to seize them for their evil deeds, He would have sent immediately a scourge on them but He has appointed a time for its fulfillment, and they will find no way out to escape from it.

Translit: Warabbuka alghafooru thoo alrrahmati law yuakhithuhum bima kasaboo laAAajjala lahumu alAAathaba bal lahum mawAAidun lan yajidoo min doonihi mawilan

These habitations which were stricken with the scourge are before you: when they committed iniquity We annihilated them, and We had appointed a term for their annihilation.

Well, we will also bring as strong a sorcery as yours. So settle with us when and where should the encounter take place; then neither should we back out of this agreement nor you. Come out in the open field."

Translit: Falanatiyannaka bisihrin mithlihi faijAAal baynana wabaynaka mawAAidan la nukhlifuhu nahnu wala anta makanan suwan

Translation:

Moses returned to his people in a state of anger and grief. Reaching there, he said, "O my people, did not your Lord make good promises with you? Had a long time passed since those promises were fulfilled? Or did you want Allah's wrath to come down upon you that you went against your Covenant with me?"

Translit: FarajaAAa moosa ila qawmihi ghadbana asifan qala ya qawmi alam yaAAidkum rabbukum waAAdan hasanan afatala AAalaykumu alAAahdu am aradtum an yahilla AAalaykum ghadabun min rabbikum faakhlaftum mawAAidee

They answered, "We did not go against the Covenant with you of our own accord; it so happened that we felt burdened with the ornaments of the people and we merely threw them down. Then the Samiri also put down something like these

Translit: Qaloo ma akhlafna mawAAidaka bimalkina walakinna hummilna awzaran min zeenati alqawmi faqathafnaha fakathalika alqa alssamiriyyu

Moses said, â€œWell, get away! now you shall have to say throughout your life: â€œTouch me not" And there is an appointed time for your reckoning which is inevitable. And just have a look at your god which you cherished so much: now We will burn it and shatter it and cast the ashes into the sea."

But the promised time to deal with them is the Hour of Resurrection, a most grievous and bitter Hour!

Translation:

O Prophet, when you (and the believers) divorce women, divorce them for their prescribed waiting-periods, and count the waiting-period accurately, and fear Allah, you Lord. And do not turn them out of their houses (during the waiting-period), not should they themselves leave them, except in case they commit an open indecency. These are the bounds prescribed by Allah and whoever transgresses Allah' bounds will wrong his own self. You do not know: Allah may after this bring about a situation (of reconciliation).

Translit: Ya ayyuha alnnabiyyu itha tallaqtumu alnnisaa fatalliqoohunna liAAiddatihinna waahsoo alAAiddata waittaqoo Allaha rabbakum la tukhrijoohunna min buyootihinna wala yakhrujna illa an yateena bifahishatin mubayyinatin watilka hudoodu Allahi waman yataAAadda hudooda Allahi faqad thalama nafsahu la tadree laAAalla Allaha yuhdithu baAAda thalika amran

Translation:

We have appointed only angels as the keepers of Hell, and have made their number a trial for the disbelievers, so that the people of the Book are convinced and the believers are increased in their faith, and the people of the Book and the believers may have no doubts, and the sick of the heart and the disbelievers may say, "What could Allah mean by this strange parable?" In this way Allah leads astray whom He wills and gives guidance to whom He wills, and none knows the hosts of your Lord but He Himself. And Hell has been mentioned so that the people may take heed.

Translit: Wama jaAAalna ashaba alnnari illa malaikatan wama jaAAalna AAiddatahum illa fitnatan lillatheena kafaroo liyastayqina allatheena ootoo alkitaba wayazdada allatheena amanoo eemanan wala yartaba allatheena ootoo alkitaba waalmuminoona waliyaqoola allatheena fee quloobihim maradun waalkafiroona matha arada Allahu bihatha mathalan kathalika yudillu Allahu man yashao wayahdee man yashao wama yaAAlamu junooda rabbika illa huwa wama hiya illa thikra lilbashari
