Translation:Call to mind that when We invited Moses for a fixed term of forty nights and days, you took to calf worship in his absence. |

Translation:We summoned Moses to Mount Sinai for thirty nights and days, and We added to them ten, thus the term appointed by his Lord became full forty nights and days. Before leaving, Moses said to his brother Aaron, "After me take my place among my people and do the right, and do not follow the way of the mischief-makers." |

Translation:O children of Israel,56 We rescued you from your enemy and fixed a time for your attendance on the right side of Tur, and sent down manna and salva to you. |

Translation:or let you see their end, which We have promised them: We have full power over them. |
