It is He Who has made the earth a bed for you and the sky a canopy; and it is He Who sends down rain from above for the growth of every kind of food products for your sustenance. So, when you know this, you should not set up equals to rank with Allah

Rest assured that whosoever from among the Muslims or the Jews or the Christians or the Sabaeans believes in Allah and the Last Day, and performs good deeds, he will have his reward with his Lord and he will have no cause for fear and grief.80

(If they want a sign for the perception of this Reality) surety there are countless signs for those who use their common sense; they can see alternation of the night and day, in the ships that sail the ocean laden with cargoes beneficial to mankind, and in the rain-water which Allah sends down from the sky and thereby gives life to the earth after its death and spreads over it all kinds of animate creatures, in the blowing of the winds and in the clouds which obediently wait for orders between the sky and the earth.

Translit: Inna fee khalqi alssamawati waalardi waikhtilafi allayli waalnnahari waalfulki allatee tajree fee albahri bima yanfaAAu alnnasa wama anzala Allahu mina alssamai min main faahya bihi alarda baAAda mawtiha wabaththa feeha min kulli dabbatin watasreefi alrriyahi waalssahabi almusakhkhari bayna alssamai waalardi laayatin liqawmin yaAAqiloona

Translation:

It is no virtue. That you turn your faces towards the east or the west, but virtue is that one should sincerely believe in Allah and the Last Day and the Angels and the Book and the Prophets and, out of His love, spend of ones choice wealth for relatives and orphans, for the needy and the wayfarer, for beggars and for the ransom of slaves, and establish the Salat and pay the Zakat. And the virtuous are those who keep their pledges when they make them and show fortitude in hardships and adversity and in the struggle between the Truth and falsehood; such are the truthful people and such are the pious.

Take great care of your Prayers, especially of a Prayer that has excellent qualities of Salat and stand before Allah like devoted servants.

They show fortitude, are truthful, obedient and charitable, and implore Allahs forgiveness in the early hours of the morning.

Men are the managers of the affairs of women because Allah has made the one superior to the others and because men spend of their wealth on women. Virtuous women are, therefore, obedient; they guard their rights carefully in their absences58 under the care and watch of Allah. As for those women whose defiance you have cause to fear, admonish them and keep them apart from your beds and beat them. Then, if they submit to you, do not look for excuses to punish them: note it well that there is Allah above you, Who is Supreme and Great.

And all of you should serve God and associate none with Him; and show kindness and affection to your parents, and be kind to near relatives, and to orphans, and to the needy; and be considerate to your neighbors kinsmen and strangers and to the companions at your side and to the wayfarer and to the slaves in your possession. We had prescribed this decree in the Torah for the Jews: "Life for life, eye for eye, nose for nose, ear for ear, tooth for tooth, and for all wounds equal retaliation." However, whoever forgoes retaliation as charity, it shall be expiation for him: those, who do not judge by the Law which Allah has sent down, are indeed the unjust people.

Allah has made the sacred House of the Kabah a means of stabilizing the (community) life of the people ; the sacred month and the animal offerings and the animals which are collared as a mark of dedication (have also been made conducive to the same object) so that you may know that Allah is fully aware of all that is in the heavens and the earth and that He has perfect knowledge of everything.

Translit: JaAAala Allahu alkaAAbata albayta alharama qiyaman lilnnasi waalshshahra alharama waalhadya waalqalaida thalika litaAAlamoo anna Allaha yaAAlamu ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi waanna Allaha bikulli shayin AAaleemun

It is He Who created the heavens and the earth in all truth, and there shall be Resurrection the day He says, "Be." His word is the very truth and on the Day, when the Trumpet is blown, His shall be the sole Sovereignty. He has full knowledge of the visible and the invisible4 and He is All-Wise, All-Knowing."

He causes the dawn to appear out of the curtain of the night; it is He Who has ordained the night for rest and determined the time of the rising and the setting of the moon and the sun: all these things have been determined by the same All Powerful and the All Wise One.

In fact, your Lord is Allah alone, Who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and then sat upon the Throne of His Kingdom; Who makes the night cover the day and then the day follows the night swiftly; Who created the sun, the moon and the stars, all of which are under His Command. Note it well: His is the creation and His the Sovereignty. Full of blessings is Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

Then We changed their adversity for good fortune till they became very prosperous and said, "Our forefathers also had their adversity and prosperity". At last We seized them all of a sudden when they were quite unaware.

Translit: Thumma baddalna makana alssayyiati alhasanata hatta AAafaw waqaloo qad massa abaana alddarrao waalssarrao faakhathnahum baghtatan wahum la yashAAuroona

And We had divided them into twelve clams and made them distinct Communities. When his people asked him tar water. We inspired Moses to strike a certain rack with his staff. Consequently, twelve springs gushed forth from it and each community specified its drinking place: We caused the cloud to cast shadow over them, and We sent down manna and salva for their food. saying. "Eat of the clean and pure things We have provided for you." However, by doing what they did afterwards, they did no wrong to Us but they wronged themselves.

Translit: WaqattaAAnahumu ithnatay AAashrata asbatan omaman waawhayna ila moosa ithi istasqahu qawmuhu ani idrib biAAasaka alhajara fainbajasat minhu ithnata AAashrata AAaynan qad AAalima kullu onasin mashrabahum wathallalna AAalayhimu alghamama waanzalna AAalayhimu almanna waalssalwa kuloo min tayyibati ma razaqnakum wama thalamoona walakin kanoo anfusahum yathlimoona

And We divided them into many separate communities all over the earth: some of these people were righteous and some of them were different from this: We tested them with prosperity and with adversity so that they might turn back.

Translit: WaqattaAAnahum fee alardi omaman minhumu alssalihoona waminhum doona thalika wabalawnahum bialhasanati waalssayyiati laAAallahum yarjiAAoona

When you return to them, they will apologize to you, offering many sorts of excuses: but say to them plainly, "Make no excuses: we will not believe in anything you say for Allah has revealed to us the whole truth about you. Now Allah and His Messenger will keep a watch over your conduct: then you shall return to Him Who knows all that is visible and hidden, and He will tell you all that you have been doing. "

Translation:

Allah was pleased with those Muhajirs and Ansar who were the first to respond to the invitation to the Faith, and with those also who followed them in their righteous conduct, and they, too, were pleased with (the reward from) Allah; He has got ready for them gardens underneath which canals flow and they will abide therein for ever; this is the greatest success.

Translit: Waalssabiqoona alawwaloona mina almuhajireena waalansari waallatheena ittabaAAoohum biihsanin radiya Allahu AAanhum waradoo AAanhu waaAAadda lahum jannatin tajree tahtaha alanharu khalideena feeha abadan thalika alfawzu alAAatheemu

These two groups may be likened to two men, one of whom is blind and deaf, and the other can see and hear. Can they be alike and equal? Do you not learn a lesson( from this example)?

This is the narrative of that time, when Joseph said to his father, "O father, I have seen in a dream eleven stars and the sun and the moon; I saw that they were prostrating themselves before me."

Then on the Day of Resurrection Allah will disgrace and degrade them. He will say to them: "Now where are My partners concerning whom you used to dispute (with the truthful)?"Those, to whom Knowledge had been given in the world, will say, "Today there is ignominy and misery for the disbelievers."

Translit: Thumma yawma alqiyamati yukhzeehim wayaqoolu ayna shurakaiya allatheena kuntum tushaqqoona feehim qala allatheena ootoo alAAilma inna alkhizya alyawma waalssooa AAala alkafireena

And dont they observe anything created by Allah how it casts its shadow right and left, prostrating itself before Allah? Thus all things express their humility.

Translit: Awa lam yaraw ila ma khalaqa Allahu min shayin yatafayyao thilaluhu AAani alyameeni waalshshamaili sujjadan lillahi wahum dakhiroona

Call to mind, O Muhammad! We told you at the very beginning that your Lord is encircling these people. And We made what We have shown you now and also the Tree which has been cursed in the Qur'an as a trial for these people." We are giving them warning after warning but each warning helps only to increase their insurrection.

Do you not see that everything in the heavens and the earth bows down before Allah? and so do the sun, and the moon and the stars, and the trees and the beasts and a large number of the people and even a large number of those who have deserved the torment. And the one whom Allah degrades and disgraces has none to make him worthy of honor; Allah does whatever He wills.

Translit: Alam tara anna Allaha yasjudu lahu man fee alssamawati waman fee alardi waalshshamsu waalqamaru waalnnujoomu waaljibalu waalshshajaru waalddawabbu wakatheerun mina alnnasi wakatheerun haqqa AAalayhi alAAathabu waman yuhini Allahu fama lahu min mukrimin inna Allaha yafAAalu ma yashao

whose hearts are filled with awe when Allah is mentioned before them: who endure with fortitude any affliction that befalls them: and who establish Salat and expend of what We have given them.

Arrange marriages between the single men and women among you and between your slave men and slave women, who are righteous, if they be indigent, Allah will provide means for them out of His bounty: Allah has boundless resources and He is All Knowing.

These people have not recognized the true worth of Allah as His worth should truly be recognized. Glorified is He and Exalted above what they associate with Him.

Among the signs of Allah are the night and the day and the sun and the moon. Do not prostrate yourselves before the sun and the moon, but prostrate yourselves before that God, Who created them, if You really are His worshipers.

Translit: Wamin ayatihi allaylu waalnnaharu waalshshamsu waalqamaru la tasjudoo lilshshamsi wala lilqamari waosjudoo lillahi alathee khalaqahunna in kuntum iyyahu taAAbudoona

And when it was said, â€œAllah's promise is true and there is no doubt about the coming of Resurrection,â€ you used to say, â€œWe do not know what Resurrection is: we do only guess: we are not certain.â€

And those who have believed in Allah and His Messengers, are indeed the most truthful and the true witnesses in the sight of their Lord. For them is their reward and their light. As for those who have disbelieved and denied Our Revelations, they are the dwellers of Hell.

Translit: Waallatheena amanoo biAllahi warusulihi olaika humu alssiddeeqoona waalshshuhadao AAinda rabbihim lahum ajruhum wanooruhum waallatheena kafaroo wakaththaboo biayatina olaika ashabu aljaheemi
