Translation:

Do the people of the habitations now feel secure. that Our punishment will not come to them all of a sudden at night, while they might be fast asleep?

Translit: Afaamina ahlu alqura an yatiyahum basuna bayatan wahum naimoona

Are these people not afraid of Allahs secret plan? In fact, only those people are doomed to destruction, who are not afraid of Allahs secret plan.

Translit: Afaaminoo makra Allahi fala yamanu makra Allahi illa alqawmu alkhasiroona

Do they feel secure that Allahs scourge shall not overwhelm them, or that the hour of Doom will not come upon them suddenly when they are unaware?

Translit: Afaaminoo an tatiyahum ghashiyatun min AAathabi Allahi aw tatiyahumu alssaAAatu baghtatan wahum la yashAAuroona

Translation:

What! Do those people, who are practicing evil devices (to oppose the Message), feel fully secure from the danger that Allah will cause them to sink into the earth? Or that He will bring scourge upon them from whence they little suspect that it will come,

Translit: Afaamina allatheena makaroo alssayyiati an yakhsifa Allahu bihimu alarda aw yatiyahumu alAAathabu min haythu la yashAAuroona

What, do you feel quite secure that sometimes Allah would not cause you to sink underground even on land, or send a deadly whirlwind charged with stones toward you, and you may not find anyone to protect you from it?

Translit: Afaamintum an yakhsifa bikum janiba albarri aw yursila AAalaykum hasiban thumma la tajidoo lakum wakeelan
