Translation:

This was Our argument which We bestowed upon Abraham against his people. We raise whom We will to exalted ranks; indeed your Lord is All-Wise, All-Knowing.

Translit: Watilka hujjatuna ataynaha ibraheema AAala qawmihi narfaAAu darajatin man nashao inna rabbaka hakeemun AAaleemun

Translation:

They say, these cattle and crops are reserved; only those people can eat them, whom we allow. In fact, this is a restriction they themselves have imposed. Then there are some animals which have been forbidden for riding and carrying loads, and there are other animals over which they do not pronounce the name of Allah. They have falsely attributed all this to Allah before long Allah will recompense them for all that they have falsely attributed to Him.

Translit: Waqaloo hathihi anAAamun waharthun hijrun la yatAAamuha illa man nashao bizaAAmihim waanAAamun hurrimat thuhooruha waanAAamun la yathkuroona isma Allahi AAalayha iftiraan AAalayhi sayajzeehim bima kanoo yaftaroona

Translation:

Thus did We give power to Joseph in the land: he had every right to take possession of any piece of it that he desired. We bestow Our bounty upon anyone We will. We do not let go waste the reward of the righteous people;

Translit: Wakathalika makanna liyoosufa fee alardi yatabawwao minha haythu yashao nuseebu birahmatina man nashao wala nudeeAAu ajra almuhsineena

Translation:

Then Joseph first began to search the packs of his step-brothers before searching the pack of his own brother. At last he took it out from the pack of his brother. Thus We supported Joseph with Our plan: or it did not behoove Joseph to seize his brother (by the kings law) except that Allah willed it so. We raise high the ranks of those We will, and there is the One Whose knowledge is far greater than the knowledge of all others.

Translit: Fabadaa biawAAiyatihim qabla wiAAai akheehi thumma istakhrajaha min wiAAai akheehi kathalika kidna liyoosufa ma kana liyakhutha akhahu fee deeni almaliki illa an yashaa Allahu narfaAAu darajatin man nashao wafawqa kulli thee AAilmin AAaleemun

Translation:

(It also happened like this with the former Messengers: they went on conveying the Message for a long time- but the people did not listen to them,) till the Messengers despaired of the people and the people also thought that a falsehood had been presented to them: then suddenly Our succor reached the Messengers. And when such an occasion comes, We deliver whomsoever We will, but Our scourge cannot be averted from the criminals.

Translit: Hatta itha istayasa alrrusulu wathannoo annahum qad kuthiboo jaahum nasruna fanujjiya man nashao wala yuraddu basuna AAani alqawmi almujrimeena

Then We fulfilled Our promises with them and ultimately delivered them and whomsoever We willed, and destroyed the transgressors.

Translit: Thumma sadaqnahumu alwaAAda faanjaynahum waman nashao waahlakna almusrifeena

Even so We have, (O Muhammad), revealed a Spirit to you by Our Command. You did not know at all what was the Book and what Was the Faith, but We made that Spirit a light by which We show the way to any of Our servants We will. You are indeed guiding to the Right Way,

Translit: Wakathalika awhayna ilayka roohan min amrina ma kunta tadree ma alkitabu wala aleemanu walakin jaAAalnahu nooran nahdee bihi man nashao min AAibadina wainnaka latahdee ila siratin mustaqeemin
