Translation:

Then We said, "O Adam, you and your wife, both dwell in the Garden and eat to your hearts content where from you will, but do not go near this tree; otherwise you shall become transgressors"

Translit: Waqulna ya adamu oskun anta wazawjuka aljannata wakula minha raghadan haythu shituma wala taqraba hathihi alshshajarata fatakoona mina alththalimeena

Translation:

Then call to mind the time when We said, "Go into the town before you and eat to your hearts content therein, wherefrom you will, but enter the gate bowing down with humility, repeating hittatun We will forgive your sins and increase the reward of the righteous".

Translit: Waith qulna odkhuloo hathihi alqaryata fakuloo minha haythu shitum raghadan waodkhuloo albaba sujjadan waqooloo hittatun naghfir lakum khatayakum wasanazeedu almuhsineena

Translation:

The one who emigrates in the way of Allah, will find in the land enough room for refuge and abundant resources for livelihood. As regards the one, who leaves his home to migrate towards Allah and His Messenger and death overtakes him on the way, Allah has taken upon Himself to give him his due reward, for Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

Translit: Waman yuhajir fee sabeeli Allahi yajid fee alardi muraghaman katheeran wasaAAatan waman yakhruj min baytihi muhajiran ila Allahi warasoolihi thumma yudrikhu almawtu faqad waqaAAa ajruhu AAala Allahi wakana Allahu ghafooran raheeman

Translation:

Would that they were contents with what Allah and His Messenger had given them and would say, "Allah suffices us: He will provide for us in abundance out of His own bounty, and His Messenger will also be kindly disposed towards us. Indeed we look to Allah alone."

Translit: Walaw annahum radoo ma atahumu Allahu warasooluhu waqaloo hasbuna Allahu sayuteena Allahu min fadlihi warasooluhu inna ila Allahi raghiboona

Translation:

Allah cites the instance of a habitation: it was enjoying a life of peace and security and was receiving its provisions in abundance from every quarter. Hut when it began to show ingratitude towards the favors of Allah, He made its inhabitants taste the consequences of their doings, and inflicted misfortunes of hunger and fear on them.

Translit: Wadaraba Allahu mathalan qaryatan kanat aminatan mutmainnatan yateeha rizquha raghadan min kulli makanin fakafarat bianAAumi Allahi faathaqaha Allahu libasa aljooAAi waalkhawfi bima kanoo yasnaAAoona

So We heard his prayer, and bestowed on him Yahya (John) and made his wife fit. (to bear a child) for him. These people exerted their utmost in righteous deeds and called upon Us with love and fear and they remained humble before Us.
