|And it is He Who created the heavens and the earth in six days-whereas before this His Throne rested upon water so that He may test which of you does the best deeds. Now O Muhammad, if you tell them "You will, O people, be raised again after death," those who disbelieve promptly exclaim, "This is plain sorcery!"

Al-Kahaf | 18:7|
|The fact is that whatsoever is on the earth, We have made it as its adornment so that we may test the people as to which of them does best deeds.

|As regards those, who accept it and do righteous deeds, they should rest assured that We do not let go waste the reward of such people:

Al-Kahaf | 18:46|
|Likewise this wealth and the offspring are mere transitory adornment of worldly life: in fact the abiding good deeds are best in the sight of your Lord in regard to their end, and hold out for you greater hopes.
