Al-Aaraf | 7:176|
|If We had willed We would have exalted him by means of those revelations, but he clung on to the earth and followed his own lusts. Therefore he began to behave like a dog: it lolls out its tongue if you chase it away and it lolls out its tongue if you leave it alone. Such is the likeness of those who treat Our Revelations as false.

|(In reply it will be said :) "Had We so willed We would have given every soul its guidance from the beginning, but the Word of Mine, which I had said, has been fulfilled that I shall fill Hell with jinns and men, all together.
