In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi

Allah has indeed heard the words of the woman who is pleading with you concerning her husband and is making her complaint to Allah. Allah is hearing your mutual conversation. He is All-Hearing, All-Seeing.

qad. sami`a Allahu qaw.la (a)llatiy tujaEdiluka fiy zaw.jihaA watash.takiy~ _ilaY Allahi waAllahu yas.ma`u taHaAwurakumaA~ [j] _inna Allaha samiy`(un) [m] baSiyr(un) [hizb]

Those of you who put away their wives by zihar (should know that) their wives are not their mothers. Their mothers are only those who gave them birth. They utter a monstrous thing and a lie. And Allah is All-Pardoning, All Forgiving.

(a)lladhiyna yuZaEhiruwna min.kum. min. nisaA~?ihim. maA hunna _ummahaEtihim. [sly] _in. _ummahaEtuhum. _illaA (a)llaYE~Y_eiy walad.naEhum. [j] wa_innahum. layaquwluwna mun.kar(an)A mina (a)l.qaw.li wazuwr(an)A [j] wa_inna Allaha la`afuww(un) ghafuwr(un)

Those who pronounce zihar with regard to their wives, then wish to go back on what they had said, shall have to free a slave before the two touch each other. This you are advised to do and Allah is well aware of whatever you do.

wa(a)lladhiyna yuZaEhiruwna min. nisaA~Y_eihim. thumma ya`uwduwna limaA qaAluwA[0] fataHriyru raqaba(t)(in) min. qabli an. yatamaA~ssaA [j] dhalikum. tuw`aZuwna bihI [j] waAllahu bimaA ta`.maluwna khabiyr(un)

And the one who does not find a slave, should fast two successive months before the two touch each other. And the one who is unable to do even this, should feed sixty needy ones. This is being enjoined so that you may believe in Allah and His Messenger. These are the bounds set by Allah and for the disbelievers there is a painful punishment.

faman. lam. yajid. faSiyaAmu shah.ray.ni mutataAbi`ay.ni min. qab.li _an. yatamaA~ssaA faman. lam. yas.taTi`. fa_iT.`aAmu sittiyna mis.kiyn(an)A [j] dhaElika lituwe.minuwA[0] biAllahi warasuwlihI [j] watil.ka Huduwdu Allahi [qly] walil.kaEfiriyna `adhaAb(un) _aliym(un)

Those who oppose Allah and His Messenger shall be abased as were those before them. We have sent down clear Revelations, and for the disbelievers there is a disgraceful torment.

_innaA (a)lladhiyna yuHaA~dduwna Allaha warasuwlahU kubituwA[0] kamaA kubitaA (a)lladhiyna min. qab.lihim. [j] waqad. _an.zal.naA ?aAyaEt(in) [-m] bayyinaEt(in) [j] walil.kaEfiriyna `adhaAb(un) muhiyn(un)

(This torment shall be meted out) on the Day when Allah will raise up all of them again, and will tell them what they had done. They have forgotten it but Allah has kept a full record of all their deeds, and Allah is witness over everything.

yaw.ma yab.`athuhumu Allahu jamiy`(an)A fayunabbiYeuhum. bimaA `amiluwA[0] [j] _aH.SaYEhu Allahu wanasuwhu [j] waAllahu `alaYE kulli shay.?(in) shahiyd(un)

Are you not aware that Allah has the knowledge of everything in the heavens and the earth? It cannot be that three men whisper together and Allah is not the fourth of them or five men whisper together and Allah is not the sixth of than. Whether they are fewer than this or more, Allah is with them wherever they are. Then, on the Day of Resurrection, He will tell them what they have done. Allah has the knowledge of everything.

_alam. tara _anna Allaha ya`.lamu maA fiy (a)lssamaEwaEti wamaA fiy (a)l._ar.Di [sly] maA yakuwnu min. naj.waYE thalaEtha(t)(in) _illaA huwa raAbi`uhum. walaA kham.sa(t)(in) _illaA huwa saAdisuhum. walaA~ _ad.naYE min. dhaElika walaA~ _ak.thara _illaA huwa ma`ahum. _ay.na maA kaAnuwA[0] [sly] thumma yunabbiYeuhum. bimaA `amiluwA[0] yaw.ma (a)l.qiyaEma(t)i [j] _inna Allaha bikulli shay?(in) `aliym(un)

Have you not seen those who were forbidden to hold secret consultations, yet they persist in what they were forbidden? They converse secretly together of sin and transgression and disobedience to the Messenger. And when they come to you, they greet you in a way in which Allah has not greeted you, and say to themselves, "Why does Allah not punish us for what we say?" Hell is enough for them they will become its fuel. What an evil end!

_alam. tara _ilaY (a)lladhiyna nuhuwA[0] `ani (a)lnnaj.waYE thumma ya`uwduwna limaA nuhuwA[0] `an.hu wayatanaEjaw.na bi(a)l._ith.mi wa(a)l.`ud.waEni wama`.Siyati (a)lrrasuwli wa_idhaA jaA~?uwka Hayyaw.ka bimaA lam. yuHayyika bihi Allahu wayaquwluwna fiy~ _an.fusihim. law.laA yu`adhdhibunaA Allahu bimaA naquwlu [j] Has.buhum. jahannamu yaS.law.nahaA [sly] fabiYe.sa (a)l.maSiyru

O you who have believed, when you talk secretly together, then do not talk of sin and transgression and disobedience to the Messenger but talk of virtue and piety, and fear that God, before Whom you shall all be mustered together.

yaA _ayyuhaA (a)lladhiyna ?aAmanuwA[0] _idhaA tanaEjay.tum. falaA tatanaEjaw.A[0] bi(a)l._ithmi wa(a)l.`ud.waEni wama`.Siyati (a)lrrasuwli watanaEjaw.A[0] bi(a)l.birri wa(a)lttaq.waYE [sly] wa(a)ttaquwA[0] Allaha (a)lladhiy~ _ilay.hi tuH.sharuwna

Conspiring secretly is the work of Satan. This is done in order to cause grief to the believers, whereas it cannot harm than at all unless it be by Allah's leave. And let the believers put their trust in Allah alone.

_innamaA (a)lnnaj.waYE mina (a)lshshay.TaEni liyaH.zuna (a)lladhiyna ?aAmanuwA[0] walay.sa biDaA~rrihim. shay.Ye(an)A _illaA bi_idhni Allahi [j] wa`alaYE Allahi fal.yatawakkali (a)l.muwe.minuwna

O you who have believed, when you are told to make room in your assemblies, you should make room: Allah will make room for you. And when you are told to rise up, you should rise up. Those of you who have believed and have been granted knowledge, Allah will exalt them in ranks and Allah is well aware of whatever you do.

yaA _ayyuhaA (a)lladhiyna ?aAmanuwA[0] _idhaA qiyla lakum. tafassaHuwA[0] fiy (a)l.majaElisi fa(a)f.saHuwA[0] yaf.saHi Allahu lakum. [sly] wa_idhaA qiyla (a)n.shuzuwA[0] fa(a)n.shuzuwA[0] yar.fa`i Allahu (a)lladhiyna ?aAmanuwA[0] min.kum. wa(a)lladhiyna _uwtuwA[0] (a)l.`il.ma darajaEt(in) [j] waAllahu bimaA ta`.maluwna khabiyr(un)

O you who have believed, when you consult the Messenger in private, you should give something in charity before your consultation. This is better for you and purer, However, if you do not have the means to give charity, Allah is indeed All-Forgiving, All-Merciful.

yaA _ayyuhaA (a)lladhiyna ?aAmanuwA[0] _idhaA naEjay.tumu (a)lrrasuwla faqaddimuwA[0] bay.na yaday naj.waYEkum. Sadaqa(t)(an) [j] dhalika khay.r(un) lakum. wa_aT.haEru [j] fa_in. lam. tajiduw. fa_inna Allaha ghafuwr(un) raHiym(un)

Are you afraid that before your consultation in private, you will have to give charity? Well, if you do not do so, and Allah has forgiven you this-then establish the Salat and practice the Zakat regularly and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah is aware of whatever you do.

?a_ash.faq.tum. _an. tuqaddimuwA[0] bay.na yaday naj.waYEkum. SadaqaEt(in) [j] fa_idh. lam. taf.`aluwA[0] wataAba Allahu `alay.kum. fa_aqiymuwA[0] (a)lSSalawE(t)a wa?aAtuwA[0] (a)lzzakawE(t)a wa_aTiy`uwA[0] Allaha warasuwlahU [j] waAllahu khabiyr(un) [m] bimaA ta`.maluwna

Have you not seen those who have taken as friends a people who are under Allah's wrath? They are neither yours nor theirs, and they swear to a falsehood knowingly.

_alam. tara _ilaY (a)lladhiyna tawallaw. qaw.m(an)A ghaDiba Allahu `alay.him. maA hum. min.kum. walaA minhum. wayaH.lifuwna `alaY (a)l.kadhibi wahum. ya`.lamuwna [hizb]

Allah has prepared a severe torment for them. Evil are the deeds they are doing!

_a`adda Allahu lahum. `adhaAb(an)A shadiyd(an)A [sly] _innahum. saA~?a maA kaAnuwA[0] ya`.maluwna

They have made their oaths a covering under which they debar others from the Way of Allah. For this they shall have a disgraceful torment.

(a)ttakhadhuwA[0] _ay.maEnahum. junna(t)(an) faSadduwA[0] `an. sabiyli Allahi falahum. `adhaAb(un) muhiyn(un)

Neither shall their riches avail them anything to protect them from Allah nor their children. They are the fellows of Hell in which they shall live for ever.

lan. tugh.niya `an.hum. _am.waEluhum. walaA~ _aw.laEduhum. mina Allahi shay.Ye(an)A _uw.laYE~Y_eika _aS.HaEbu (a)lnnaAri [sly] hum. fiyhaA khaEliduwna

The Day Allah raises them up all, they shall swear to Him as they swear to you, thinking that their oaths will avail them something. Know it well that they are utter liars.

yaw.ma yab.`athuhumu Allahu jamiy`(an)A fayaH.lifuwna lahU kamaA yaH.lifuwna lakum. [sly] wayaH.sabuwna _annahum. `alaYE shay.?(in) [j] _alaA~ _innahum. humu (a)l.kaEdhibuwna

Satan has overpowered them and has caused them to forget God's remembrance. They are of Satan's party. Know it well that those of Satan's party indeed are the real losers.

(a)s.taH.wadha `alay.himu (a)lshshay.TaEnu fa_an.saEhum. dhik.ra Allahi [j] _uw.laYE~Y_eika Hiz.bu (a)lshshay.TaEni [j] _alaA~ _inna Hiz.ba (a)lshshay.TaEni humu (a)l.khaEsiruwna

Surely the most abject of the creatures are those who resist Allah and His Messenger.

_inna (a)lladhiyna yuHaA~dduwna Allaha warasuwlahU _uw.laYEY_eika fiy (a)l.adhalliyna

Allah has written down: "I and My Messengers shall most certainly prevail." Allah is All-Powerful and All-Mighty.

kataba Allahu la_agh.libanna _anaA[0] warusuliy~ [j] _inna Allaha qawiyy(un) `aziyz(un)

You will never find any people who believe in Allah and the Last Day loving those who have opposed Allah and His Messenger, even though they be their fathers, or their sons, or their brothers, or their kinsfolk. They are those in whose hearts Allah has inscribed faith and has strengthened them with a spirit from Himself. He will admit them to such Gardens underneath which rivers will be flowing, to dwell there in for ever. Allah is well pleased with them and they with Allah. They are of Allah's party. Know it well that those of Allah's party alone are truly successful!

llaA tajidu qaw.m(an)A yuwe.minuwna biAllahi wa(a)lyaw.mi (a)l._akhiri yuwaA~dduwna man. HaA~dda Allaha warasuwlahU wa law. kaAnuw. ?aAbaA~?ahum. _aw. _ab.naA~?ahum. _aw. _ikh.waEnahum. _aw. `ashiyratahum. [j] _uw.laYEY_eika kataba fiy quluwbihimu (a)l._iymaEna wa_ayyadahum. biruwH(in) min.hu [sly] wayud.khiluhum. jannaEt(in) taj.riy min. taH.tihaA (a)l._anhaEru khaElidiyna fiyhaA [j] raDiya Allahu `an.hum. waraDuwA[0] `an.hu [j] _uw.laYEY_eika Hiz.bu Allahi [j] _alaA~ _inna Hiz.ba Allahi humu (a)l.muf.liHuwna
