ACE — Arabic Pronunciation Guide
This guide explains how ACE converts Arabic letters and vowels into IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) and how Tajwīd colors appear in the analyzer.
1. IPA System Used in ACE
ACE uses a simplified, Quran-oriented IPA system that preserves classical Arabic phonology.
Consonants

Short Vowels

- i — Kasra ( ـِ )
- u — Damma ( ـُ )
Long Vowels
- aː — Alif / Madd (ا / آ)
- iː — Yā (ي)
- uː — Wāw (و)
2. Tajwīd Color System (ACE)
ACE highlights letters according to their Tajwīd category:

4. Nūn Sākinah & Tanwīn Rules
ACE includes special handling for:
- Idghām with Ghunnah — ن / م
- Ikhfāʼ — 15 letters, nasalization applied
- Iqlāb — ن → م before ب
- Idh-hār — throat letters
